Primus used to have a job in Singapore with the Bukit Timah Saddle Club but he had to be retired early because he didn’t like his job i.e. being ridden by kids as part of the club’s pony rides.
Primus is given a stable name “Sanuk” which made it easier for his
caregivers to call him.
He is currently enjoying his early retirement at the sanctuary as
the dominant male of the herd and keeps the other horses (all larger than him)
in line. Every evening, he will take his time to return to the stables
after the others have been put in for the night.
To upkeep his stay at the sanctuary, Primus plays his part
by being a model for photo shoots – if you want to engage him for bridal photos,
